Edgerton Coalition for a Healthy Community was created in 2007, through a grant received by
Partners in Prevention-Rock County, Inc.
The coalition was established in response to the Search Institute survey results indicating Edgerton youth were at an INCREASED RISK for engaging in underage drinking and drug use. The results identified strengths and deficits in the developmental assets of Edgerton youth.
As the leader of a community wide asset building campaign ECHC is bringing Edgerton together to address the needs of our families and youth.
Mission: To raise awareness, educate and support positive change for the community and youth.
Vision: Edgerton, as a community, values and supports their youth and promotes positive youth development.
Attend a Coalition meeting on the second Thursday of each month at
the Edgerton Public Library 6:30pm. Meetings are open to the public.
